Big Sky Acoustics is a professional acoustic consultancy based in the East of England. We work on a wide variety of planning, licensing and building acoustics projects and specialise in music and entertainment noise control.

We advise on acoustic design issues including the sound insulation and acoustic treatment for nightclubs, bars, recording studios, theatres, cinemas, industrial sites and schools, as well as domestic residential sound insulation.

We can carry out environmental noise surveys including PPG24 planning surveys, environmental noise monitoring, BS4142 plant noise assessments, and also employee noise exposure assessments in accordance with the Control Of Noise At Work Regulations 2005. We have many years experience in noise related matters for planning and licensing and can assist you with the preparation of noise evidence and expert witness services at applications, appeals and inquiries.

We are fully equipped to carry out sound insulation pre-completion testing (PCT) under Building Regulations Approved Document E 'Resistance to the Passage of Sound'.
