Richard Vivian established Big Sky in 2002 as an acoustic consultancy, primarily specialising in the music and entertainment industry and offering a flexible approach to acoustic design and noise control.

He has previously worked for major international brandnames including Celestion, Turbosound, Quested and Sega. His experience is extensive and he is been involved not just in commercial product design, but in the design, development and application of audio systems at numerous venues throughout the world. In addition to his work in the fixed installation sector Richard is experienced in both live touring and recording studio engineering and has worked on many projects for major artists across the globe.

Richard Vivian has been working with audio and acoustic systems for over two decades. A graduate in Electronic Systems Engineering at Kingston University, he is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, a member of the Institute of Acoustics and a member of the Audio Engineering Society.
